November 2-9 2019 Roatan SCUBA trip with PADI Certification

For the third consecutive year, Sue Plankis and I are going SCUBA diving in reefs encircling the tropical Caribbean island of Roatan. We stay at a small but excellent beachside lodge next door to a terrific dive center. We’ve had a great time diving with sea turtles and fish in a rainbow of colors and myriad shapes. The coral reefs of Roatan are among the best in the world.  We want to go back again this fall. Last year, we brought along eight people. This year, we have put together an incredible package for $1747 per person. Your fee pays for your cabin and a completed PADI certification program which includes several dives and all the necessary gear.  No profit in this for Sue and I, your fee covers all our expenses. We believe it would be fun to share this adventure with a group of ten soon to be friends. Diving, sea kayaking, barbecues on the beach, beach walks to the town of West End…fun.  I know June and July are great months anywhere, but come November wouldn’t you like to spend eight days on a tropical island?

Included in your fee is a room at the small beachside resort. Last year we were the only people staying at the lodge. The rooms are first class with cooking facilities, full private bathrooms, air conditioning. There are two pools on the premises for our use, plus the beach, and wharf. Kayaks and SUPs are available for use at no cost. There is good snorkeling right off the beach. We are walking distance to villages of West End and West Beach with restaurants and many tourist facilities. If you do not care to walk, you can also catch a boat ferry that passes by every 10 minutes or so.

Fee for the 8 days/7 nights including PADI Open Water SCUBA certification is $1,747 per person. Transfers from the International airport are also included as well as one island barbecue. You are on your own for the other meals. All the cabins have full kitchens, and there are many restaurants in walking distance. For certified divers or for explorers that are not interested in diving the fee is $1500 per person.

I will be off the grid paddling the Noatak River in northern Alaska from July 5-31.  So unable to respond to questions until after August 1 rob@robkesselring.com but you may reserve a spot by sending a deposit check for $800 made out to Uncommon Seminars LLC
